Individual Sessions

An initial appointment determines the nature of the child’s difficulty and establishes goals for intervention. An assessment is usually 60 to 90 minutes and includes a written report.

Our standard therapy sessions are 30 mins. The length and type of sessions offered depends on individual needs.

Parent Talks & Workshops

We can be requested to run parent talks hosted at your child's school/preschool:

"Toddler Talk": Find out more about early speech/language milestones for your toddler and how to help your child's communication at home.

"Kindy Conversations": Find out more about speech/language expectations for school readiness and early literacy skills.

We run the following workshops during term at our clinic:

Hanen - It Takes Two To Talk™: This program is designed specifically for parents of young children (birth to 5 years of age) who have been identified as having a language delay. In a small group setting, parents learn practical strategies to help their children learn language naturally throughout their day together.

Hanen - More Than Words™: This program was designed specifically for parents of children ages 5 and under on the autism spectrum and with other social communication difficulties. Addressing the unique needs of these children, the program provides parents with the tools, strategies and support they need to help their children reach their full communication potential.

We can also be requested to run teacher workshops.
